Least you forget, you have training in how to handle guns.

Consider Switzerland’s approach and the result.

All males a specified age are trained in guns and homeland
        protection and issued the guns.

Yes every home in Switzerland has a military issued gun!

Explain that to the prime minister.

That alone is platform for next Ukrainian Presidential campaign…

Imagine, every Ukrainian male capable of handling a gun, issued one
and any female interested issued on as in Israel.

What would result on Thuggery be? What would result on
        crooked politicians be?

Where is Roman on speaking out publicly about Switzerland?
        The quiet is deafening.

The Swiss Difference: A Gun Culture That Works
        http://world.time.com/2012/12/20/the-swiss-difference-a-gun-culture-that-works/

“The gun-loving Swiss are not about to lay down their
arms. Guns are ubiquitous in this neutral nation, with
sharpshooting considered a fun and wholesome
recreational activity for people of all ages.”

“Even though Switzerland has not been involved in an
armed conflict since … 1847, the Swiss are very serious not only
about their right to own weapons but also to carry them
around in public. Because of this general acceptance
and even pride in gun ownership, nobody bats an eye
at the sight of a civilian riding a bus, bike or motorcycle
to the shooting range, with a rifle slung across the shoulder.”

The structure of the Swiss militia system stipulates that the
soldiers keep their own personal equipment, including all
personally assigned weapons, at home . Compulsory military
service concerns all male Swiss citizens, with women serving
voluntarily. Males usually receive initial orders at the age
of 18 for military conscription eligibility screening. About
two-thirds of young Swiss men are found suitable for service,
while alternative service exists for those found unsuitable.

Nope, not every swiss home has a gun. That’s BS. if 2/3 of swiss men are suitable, why every household then? Do you think that there are households with e.g. only a single woman?

Cheers from Switzerland. From a household without gun and a neighbourhood without guns. Why? They have a brain and leave it at the armoury.

There are no studies which show gun ownership causes more crime and less safety. They all show the opposite. Most recently, a Harvard study compared murder rates and gun ownership rates in Europe. Guns help.

The only thing anti-guns proponents like you have are emotional arguments and name calling “they have a brain.” Fraudulent arguments.
