Both the Orthodox Church and the Greek Catholic Church follow the Julian Calendar. Easter will be May 1st.

Roman Catholics and protestants are a tiny minority in Ukraine.

Yes, the Greek Catholic church follows Orthodox liturgies but recognizes the Pope.

And yes, his socialist leanings are disgusting. An increasing number of my Catholic friends have begun calling themselves “Pre-Vatican II Catholics.”

Oh, this site does not get into religion?
    Consider this guy:
    Never be lukewarm.
    Life itself demands passion.
He who is indifferent to God has already forfeited his soul.
He who is indifferent to politics has already forfeited his liberty.
In America, religion is not mere window dressing and citizenship is not a spectator sport.
Do not allow our common destiny as a whole people to just happen without your input.
