It's funny how, especially now on anniversary of the start of Winter War, russian trolls are rushing to hype the USSR's "victory" over Finland.

Country of 170 million failed to conquer a neutral country of less than 4 million people.

We survived. We are still here. We won.

On this day in 1991, Ukrainians overwhelmingly voted for independence in a nationwide referendum. 92% of Ukrainians backed independence, including majorities in every single region of the country.
