A friend of mine is very critical of Arestovych, calling him a “telented narcissist trickster.”
He gets a lot of credit for a 2019 interview forecasting the war with Russia (which I posted here), but in a January 31, 2022 interview he said “There will be no war. Dear Ukrainians, you shall unpack your emergency bags.”
Like many Ukrainians, my friend is also critical of Arestovych’s more tolerant stance toward Russia.
