@ 4:20 — Paet laments that the protesters want real reform, not just a change of government.

@ 5:30 — Ashton talks about the importance of IMF. (perhaps not relevant)

@ 6:50 — Government think. They want a Ukrainian leader. Advice on how the opposition can seem legitimate – laying flowers.

@ 8:00 — Discussing another Oligarch Poroshenko for elevation to political office.

@ 8:20 — Mysterious information about the snipers. New coalition doesn’t want to investigate this.

Paet: “All the evidence shows that people who were killed by snipers from both sides, policemen and people from the streets, that they were the same snipers killing people from both sides. … Some photos that showed it is the same handwriting, the same type of bullets, and it is really disturbing that now the new coalition they don’t want to investigate what exactly happened. So there is now stronger and stronger understanding that behind the snipers, it was not Yanukovych, but it was somebody from the new coalition.”

Ashton: “I think we do want to investigate. I mean, I didn’t pick that up, that’s interesting. Gosh.”

Paet: “. . . . It already discreditates (sic) this new coalition.”

My take:

It’s certainly alarming– The possibility that the snipers were instigators either from the opposition or the New World Order.

It’s unlikely / unimportant for two reasons:

1) Even before the snipers started their horrible killing, the regime already killed protesters, kidnapped them from hospitals, and resorted to many hooligan tactics.

2) This late in the protests, both sides had guns. So it’s possible that protesters were shooting police with the same types of weapons that police were using against the protesters.

We have started to see information released from Russia that

it was actually the new regime in Ukraine who ordered killings

of both protestors and police on the square in Kiev.

Misinformation is an old tool of propagandist. So ask who

    controls the misinformation.

Here is summary of one organization known to be

    involved in Kiev:

    Overview of FSB from: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Federal_Security_Service_(Russia)

Federal Security Service of the Russian Federation (FSB) Russian is the principal security agency of the Russian Federation and the main successor agency to the USSR’s Committee of State Security (KGB). Its main responsibilities are within the country and include counter-intelligence, internal and border security, counter-terrorism, and surveillance as well as investigating some other types of grave crimes. It is headquartered in the main building of the former KGB. The Director of the FSB since 2008 is army general Aleksandr Bortnikov.

The FSB is mainly responsible for internal security of the Russian state, counterespionage, and the fight against organized crime, terrorism, and drug smuggling. Since 2003, when the Federal Border Guards Service was incorporated to the FSB, it has also been responsible for overseeing border security. The FSB is engaged mostly in domestic affairs, while espionage duties are responsibility of the Russian Foreign Intelligence Service. However, the FSB also includes the FAPSI agency, which conducts electronic surveillance abroad. All law enforcement and intelligence agencies in Russia work under the guidance of FSB, if needed.

The FSB combines functions and powers similar to those exercised by the United States FBI National Security Branch, Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), the Federal Protective Service, the National Security Agency (NSA), U.S. Customs and Border Protection, United States Coast Guard, and partly the Drug Enforcement Administration.

Under Article 32 of the Federal Constitutional Law On the Government of the Russian Federation,[2] the FSB head answers directly to the RF president and the FSB director is the RF president’s appointment, though he is a member of the RF government which is headed by the Chairman of Government

Yeltsin appointed as director of the FSB Vladimir Putin, a KGB veteran who would later succeed Yeltsin as federal president.[7] Putin was reluctant to take over the directorship, but once appointed conducted a thorough reorganization, which included the dismissal of most of the FSB’s top personnel. Putin appointed Nikolai Patrushev as the head of FSB in 1999.[5]

According to some unofficial sources, since 1999, the FSB has also been tasked with the intelligence-gathering on the territory of the CIS countries, wherein the SVR is legally forbidden from conducting espionage under the inter-government agreements.

After becoming President, Vladimir Putin launched a major reorganization of the FSB. First, the FSB was placed under direct control of the President by a decree issued on 17 May 2000.

According to some unofficial sources, since 1999, the FSB has also been tasked with the intelligence-gathering on the territory of the CIS countries, wherein the SVR is legally forbidden from conducting espionage under the inter-government agreements. Such activity is in line with Article 8 of the Federal Law on the FSB.

In the summer of 2006, the FSB was given the legal power to engage in targeted killing, and hunt down and kill terrorism suspects overseas if ordered to do so by Russia’s president.

Ask who controls the FSB. Who protects Victor Yanukovich?
