Three killed, ten injured in Kharkiv bombing of pro-Ukrainian parade

While details of the attack remain murky, Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) spokesperson Markian Lubkivsky reported that four suspects in what he called the “terrorist act” had been apprehended.

He told Ukraine’s 112 Television that the suspects had received help from Russia in carrying out the attack.

“They are Ukrainian citizens who underwent instruction and received weapons in the Russian Federation, in Belgorod,” Lubkivsky said, referring to a nearby Russian city across the border.

Casualty figures from Debaltsev

Here we go! New official Ukrainian figures for the #Debaltseve disaster:
13 KIA
157 WIA
90 POW
82 MIA
Making 342 casualties.

I’ve seen other reports that put the number of KIA at 40, and of course there’s speculation that it’s much higher.

I don’t think the people calling it a disaster are right, though. It may very well have been that the best possible course of action was followed: inflict heavy casualties on the invading Russians and withdraw.
